About Mental Health Therapy at Rooted Stillness

Program Description

At Rooted Stillness, we understand that trauma, emotional abuse, and harmful upbringing patterns can shape the way individuals approach life, relationships, and coping with challenges. Our goal is to provide a compassionate and supportive environment where clients can confront and process their childhood beliefs and traumas, breaking free from harmful patterns that may have been used to cope, such as substance abuse or negative self-talk. 


Core Objective: We aim to help individuals confront and heal from past emotional wounds by offering emotional support and providing them with the tools and strategies needed to navigate and process intense emotional turmoil. This allows our clients to move forward with healthier coping mechanisms, eliminating the need for destructive behaviors like substance use.


Approach: Our treatment approach is holistic and is rooted in four foundational pillars: 


Medical Support – We assess and manage physical and mental health needs, ensuring that any underlying conditions (such as anxiety, depression, or PTSD) are addressed with appropriate medical care. 

Spiritual Healing – We offer spiritual guidance to help individuals reconnect with their sense of purpose, inner peace, and meaning, fostering resilience and hope. 

Diet and Exercise – Nutrition and physical health play a critical role in emotional healing. Our program includes personalized diet and exercise plans to help support mental well-being and boost overall health. 

Therapeutic Intervention – Through one-on-one therapy and group sessions, clients are provided with a safe space to explore and process past trauma. Our holistic therapy techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and mindfulness practices, are employed to support emotional healing.

Our Process

We work collaboratively with each client to explore the roots of their past trauma and how it may have shaped their beliefs and behaviors. By understanding the connection between their early life experiences and present-day challenges, clients gain clarity and empowerment through holistic therapy. The goal is not only to provide emotional support in addressing current struggles but also to create a healthier mindset moving forward, helping clients break free from old coping mechanisms and learn new, more positive ways to manage stress and emotions as part of their trauma healing journey.
